NACWO

Named Animal Care and Welfare Officers play a vital role in maintaining animal welfare and anyone applying to become a NACWO must complete an accredited training course. This course, accredited by the IAT, lasts two days and explores the role of the NACWO.

Please note that new NACWOs are expected also to have completed modules E1L, PILA for the species, PILK and E2. They may also need to complete PILB and PILC in some cases.
